I offer evidence-based, psychoanalytic psychotherapy to adults, couples, and adolescents.
I draw on my experience as a novice priest and practitioner in the Zen Buddhist and Advaita Vedanta traditions to explore deeper issues of spirituality and meaning alongside the psychological aspects of our struggles in life.
Relying on a mix of modalities including psychoanalysis, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), my aim is to work collaboratively with you to both address your immediate concerns as well as to investigate more deeply held psychological patterns towards a more wholehearted and intimate engagement with life.
I received a bachelor's degree in international studies from the University of Washington in 2005, a master's degree in international affairs from the University of California, San Diego in 2009, and a master's degree in social work from the University of Washington in 2025. I'm a graduate of Upaya Zen Center's Buddhist Chaplaincy Training Program as well as the DBT Training Program through the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
I rely on my diverse set of life experiences to support clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, personality disorders, addiction, and complex PTSD.
